Warrior, nude, riding horse to right, thrusting spear with his upraised right hand, holding two spears and the reins with his left and his shield over his back; to left, ΣI; below horse, ΔEINOKPATHΣ. Rev. TAPAΣ Phalantos riding dolphin left, holding small dolphin in outstretched right hand. HN Italy 967. Vlasto 692-3. A beautifully toned example. The legends weakly struck as usual, otherwise, very fine.
